GOVERNANCE
The Malaysian Hospitality Association (MHA) is registered in Malaysia and governed in accordance with its Memorandum and Articles of Association, together with its relevant By-Laws, which collectively define the Association’s governance framework and operating principles.
The Articles of Association establish the constitutional rules of MHA, outlining its structure, governance, and mode of operation. These include the definition of membership, the formation, roles, and authority of the Governing Council/Board, and the overall organisation and representation of members.
The By-Laws provide further clarity and guidance, detailing membership categories and progression, branch and committee structures, standards of professional conduct, and the disciplinary processes applicable in the event of any breach of the Association’s code of ethics. Together, these instruments ensure transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of professional integrity across MHA.
