MHA - MHA Workforce Development

The MHA Workforce Upskilling & Reskilling Program is a complimentary initiative offered by the Malaysian Hospitality Association (MHA) to hospitality organizations across Malaysia in support of Visit Malaysia Year 2026. This program reflects MHA’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the industry’s human capital and ensuring the hospitality workforce is future-ready.

Designed to enhance skills, capabilities, and professional confidence, each program is delivered in focused 4-hour modules that are practical, industry-relevant, and immediately applicable. Currently, over 20 programs are available, with additional offerings to be introduced progressively in response to industry needs.

At MHA, our purpose is clear: we exist to care for, develop, and uplift the hospitality workforce. We do not use the industry for our survival—rather, we serve the industry by investing in its people. By empowering talent at every level, we aim to build a resilient, skilled, and sustainable hospitality sector that supports Malaysia’s growth and global reputation.

MHA CONTRIBUTION TO VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2026

The Malaysian Hospitality Association (MHA) remains steadfast in its commitment to the development and enhancement of human capital within the hospitality industry. In support of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, MHA will be providing complimentary 4-hour training programmes for hospitality employees across all industry sectors. These initiatives are designed as an industry-wide contribution, reflecting MHA’s role as a responsible industry body dedicated to capability building rather than commercial return.

The programmes are open to all hospitality segments, with additional training modules to be introduced progressively in line with industry needs. Through these efforts, MHA reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the industry through collaboration, professional development, and long-term value creation.
